This Cookie Policy explains how Re:Source Roadmap (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on resourceroadmap.com. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
By using our site, you agree to cookies being set as described here, subject to the choices you make in our cookie banner. You can change those choices anytime by clicking Cookie Preferences in the footer.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember you and your preferences, keep you signed in, understand how the site is used, and improve your experience. Similar technologies — like pixels, tags, local storage, and session storage — work the same way, and we refer to all of them as “cookies” in this policy.
Cookies can be first-party (set by resourceroadmap.com directly) or third-party (set by services we use, like Google). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a set period, ranging from minutes to a year or more).
Why we use cookies
Re:Source Roadmap is a community-powered directory for antique, vintage, and secondhand shops and events across the U.S. and Canada. We use cookies to:
- Keep your account secure and signed in
- Remember your bookmarks, saved searches, and location preferences
- Power location-based features (like “use my current location” and “near me” results)
- Understand how visitors find shops and events, so we can improve the directory
- Process orders and payments for paid listing plans
- Send you notifications about sales and events in your area, when you’ve asked us to
- Make sure the site loads quickly and works correctly
We do not sell your personal information. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent again.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly Necessary (always active)
These cookies are required for the site to function: signing in, security, remembering your cookie choices, shopping cart and checkout, and basic navigation. You can’t opt out of these because the site won’t work properly without them.
Functional
These remember your choices so you don’t have to make them every visit, like your location for nearby search, your timezone for accurate event times, your country for regional content, and similar conveniences.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. We use Google Analytics (loaded via Google Site Kit, the official WordPress plugin from Google). The data we receive is aggregated and doesn’t directly identify you. With Google Consent Mode v2 enabled, Google receives only anonymous signals until you grant analytics consent.
Marketing/Advertisement
(only active if you’ve consented, and only if/when we run ads) — If we add advertising or retargeting in the future, these cookies would help us show you relevant content from Re:Source Roadmap on other sites and measure whether our campaigns work. As of the date above, we are not running any advertising campaigns.

__cf_bmcookie. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. - CookieYes — manages your cookie consent choices and our consent records. See CookieYes Privacy Policy.

- Brevo — used to send “Notify me” sign-up confirmations, event alert emails, and other transactional and marketing emails. See Brevo’s Privacy Policy.
- WordPress — the platform this site runs on, which sets some essential cookies for site functions and logged-in user sessions.
