Re:Source Roadmap — SMS Terms
Effective Date: June 17, 2026
These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the Re:resource Roadmap text messaging program operated through resourceroadmap.com.
By requesting an SMS message, submitting your mobile number through an SMS opt-in form, or otherwise providing your express consent to receive text messages from Re:resource Roadmap, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions.
1. Program Description
The Re:resource Roadmap SMS program provides transactional messages related to business and event listings on Re:resource Roadmap.
Messages may include:
- One-time verification codes;
- Secure listing-claim links;
- Listing ownership verification;
- Claim request confirmations;
- Claim-status updates;
- Security or account-related notifications; and
- Customer support communications requested by the user.
This SMS program is intended primarily to help business owners, event organizers, and authorized representatives verify, claim, secure, or manage listings displayed on Re:resource Roadmap.
Re:resource Roadmap will not enroll a telephone number in this SMS program solely because that number appears publicly on a business listing or was obtained from a third-party directory. An SMS message will be sent only after a user actively requests SMS verification or otherwise provides appropriate consent for the applicable messaging program.
2. How You Opt In
You may opt in by:
- Selecting the SMS verification option while claiming a listing;
- Entering or confirming your mobile telephone number;
- Checking an unchecked consent box that clearly explains the SMS program; and
- Submitting the listing-claim or verification request.
By opting in, you authorize Re:resource Roadmap to send automated SMS or MMS messages to the mobile number you provided for the purposes described above.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product, service, subscription, or membership.
You represent that:
- You are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided;
- You are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number; and
- The information you provide is accurate.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your activity and the status of your listing-claim request.
Users will typically receive between one and three messages for each listing-claim or verification request. Additional messages may be sent when necessary to provide requested support, communicate claim-status updates, or protect the security of an account or listing.
Re:resource Roadmap does not guarantee that any particular number of messages will be sent.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving SMS or MMS messages according to the terms of your mobile service plan.
Re:source Roadmap does not charge a separate fee for receiving its SMS messages, but standard carrier messaging and data charges may apply.
Contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging or data plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You may cancel participation in the Re:source Roadmap SMS program at any time by replying:
- STOP
- CANCEL
- QUIT
- STOP
- OPTOUT
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- STOPALL
- REVOKE
- END
After submitting an opt-out request, you will receive one final confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will receive no further messages from the applicable Re:resource Roadmap SMS program unless you provide consent again.
Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically delete your Re:resource Roadmap account, remove a listing, cancel a membership, or unsubscribe you from communications sent through other channels.
6. Help and Customer Support

When contacting support, please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant listing or claim request. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card information, or other highly sensitive information through SMS.
7. Privacy
Re:resource Roadmap processes information associated with the SMS program in accordance with its Privacy Policy:
https://resourceroadmap.com/privacy-policy/Information associated with the SMS program may include your mobile number, consent record, opt-in date and time, IP address, listing information, message history, delivery status, and opt-out status.
Re:resource Roadmap may use service providers, including messaging and telecommunications providers, to deliver messages and operate the SMS program.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The foregoing restrictions do not prevent Re:resource Roadmap from sharing information with service providers that process information solely to operate, maintain, secure, or deliver the SMS program on Re:resource Roadmap’s behalf.
8. Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS delivery is subject to the availability and operation of participating wireless carriers and telecommunications providers.
Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message delivery may be affected by:
- Carrier network availability;
- Device compatibility;
- Internet or mobile service interruptions;
- Incorrect or inactive telephone numbers;
- Spam filtering;
- Blocked numbers;
- Roaming restrictions; or
- Other circumstances outside Re:resource Roadmap’s control.
Re:resource Roadmap does not guarantee that every message will be received within a particular period.
9. Verification Codes and Claim Links
Verification codes and secure listing-claim links are intended only for the person who requested them.
You must not:
- Share verification codes or secure claim links with unauthorized persons;
- Use the SMS program to claim a listing you do not own or represent;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account or listing; or
- Use automated systems to submit excessive or fraudulent verification requests.
Verification codes and claim links may expire after a limited period. Re:resource Roadmap may reject, suspend, or investigate a claim request when it reasonably suspects fraud, impersonation, unauthorized access, or misuse.
Receiving a verification message does not by itself establish ownership of a business or authorization to control a listing. Re:resource Roadmap may request additional documentation or information before approving a claim.
10. Changing Your Mobile Number
You are responsible for notifying Re:resource Roadmap if you change, deactivate, transfer, or no longer control a mobile number enrolled in the SMS program.
Before discontinuing use of a mobile number, reply STOP or contact Re:resource Roadmap so that the number can be removed from the program.
11. Program Availability and Changes
Re:resource Roadmap may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the SMS program at any time.
We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to:
- The SMS program;
- Our business practices;
- Messaging-provider requirements;
- Carrier requirements; or
- Applicable laws and regulations.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. No Marketing Without Separate Consent
The listing-verification SMS program is intended for transactional and account-related communications.
Re:resource Roadmap will not use consent provided specifically for listing verification to enroll you automatically in a separate promotional or marketing SMS program.
Where Re:resource Roadmap offers promotional SMS messages, those messages will be governed by a separate and clearly disclosed opt-in process. You will not be required to consent to promotional SMS messages as a condition of purchasing or using Re:resource Roadmap.
13. General Terms
These SMS Terms and Conditions supplement the Re:resource Roadmap Terms of Use:
https://resourceroadmap.com/terms-of-use/If these SMS Terms conflict with the general Terms of Use regarding the operation of the SMS program, these SMS Terms will control for that limited purpose.
